they rocked my world.
I almost failed a few stages simply because I was more interested in watching the animations than chasing the doeos. Cute graphics. Smooth, simple gameplay. Nicely done.

Heh
Nice polished feel. And the "Free Will" mode was surprising, and for a moment confusing, and finally entertaining feature. Nice satire.
A nice quick enjoyable game
Played it all the way to over 100%. Kept me entertained all the way. Just one suggestion: give the player a "downgrade" graphics option. I actually would hae liked to see level 20 in 8-bit mode.
Awesome
Can't say anything that any other reviews haven't. Hope to see the 64 version soon. All my 10 are belong to you.
Cool, though a tad unbalanced
I think there ought to be some kind of reward for getting large groups in a single shot. If there was one, I didn't notice, so if there's a bonus, make it more obvious. At the end there were just so many enemies, I was just spamming mini shots and hoping to hit something. Maybe that was the point, maybe it wasn't. Either way, it wasn't any fun. I give you a nine for interesting game play and fancy base design.
awesome animation
Gameplay got a bit repetitive but kudos on the great graphics and animation. Just wish defend had a "are you sure? yes? no?" I died at Goku 'cuz I hit "defend" instead of WMagic. Pft. Nice work anyhoo.
Excellent
Nice tutorial. It was very clear and concise. The mouse over points were a nice touch. I do some Photoshop coloring too. Although I have my own techniques, it's always cool to compare notes with other people. I'll definitely pick up a few things from your style. Great work.
Thank you :) I like comparing notes too :D Get to learn a lot, and it's really just neat to see how other people do things as well, since there's 23948203948098 ways to do one thing in Photoshop XD
Eye-candy graphics + clunky platformer
Graphics are great but the gameplay needs rethinking.
This game reminded me of the old school contra games. Movement is so slow that dodging bullets when you can't jump is next to impossible. I actually didn't mind the camera too much. It gives a kind of jittery war-shock feel.
My biggest problem was hitting the enemies. They move fast and have a small hit area. The turrets were the hardest to hit because of the level design. I think if you had made killing enemies easier, then added more enemies (like maybe 8 on screen) it would have made combat more satisfying.
Excellent Execution
Rock solid game! The old-school graphics and the "Ghouls&Goblins" storyline plus the neat puzzle-RPG mechanics kept me playing til the end of storymode. My only complaint is that the game didn't get much harder at the end.Take note that I was playing on "normal". I might change my mind once I give hard mode a spin.
I mean, aside from the stronger enemies, there wasn't much challenge especially since the increased armor (or level, i'm not sure which) prevented the damage from when my action points ran out. What I'd do is get the key then get beside the door, then spend a few minutes just breaking blocks so I could farm gold for the shop.
One feature I'd like to see is block powered abilities. Like, instead of scrolls, you could assign each spell to a block color. Drilling blocks of that color would charge up your spell and once it's full, you can use it. Just an idea in case you do a sequel.
All said, Knightfall is a great game, especially for puzzle gem lovers like me.
