I've been following his Twitter and tweeted him about the status of MR2 about three weeks ago. He hasn't responded. It appears that he's abandoned MR2. I can understand that. I'm rather annoyed that he didn't tell his fans though.

First Pico 2, now this. Newgrounds has so much potential, but while well established developers also put tons of hours in, Newgrounds developers have to do it almost singlehandedly, and pretty much for free. It's completely reasonable for people to not want to put so much of their life aside for something with no return value.
So, guessing from the posts below and his twitter and stuff. im guessing that he's done, at least for now....To anyone looking for a good game, i recommend Epic Battle Fantasy 3 and 4. Definately fun.

I will just check his account periodically. EBF4 was kind of disappointment since the introduction of pay-only stuff. I get that people want to have something back for all their work, but he could've do that in less intrusive way - you should be able to buy extra stuff but also there should be a way to get those items through some ridiculously hard fights or quests. Earn on impatient ones and award the patient.

I almost want to say MR2 is dead, but I doubt that being he has already released a beta. What I really think is happening is that the game is having a shit ton of bugs and he is having some serious problems. I bet at this point that the game will either be released at an earlier stage of beta were there are less bugs, revolverroach will just say fuck it and release the current version, or we wont see MR2 come out for a very long time, or ever.
