3d Models and Shader Tests

Posted by revolverroach - July 22nd, 2019

Quick update. After many trials, I've finally settled on a custom shader. In the Unity3d test render below, those are 3d models of characters and lockers with a shader generated outline. The UI elements are just pasted in to add a bit of flavor. I've written more about it in patreon.com/revolverroach/posts

so great to see you back, i remember playing the OG retaliation and being saddened when you suddenly went dark.
welcome back to NG, i sure as hell missed you.

i felt like after mc11 released every1 just come back from the dead and continue kicking ass

MC11 literally was the deciding factor that MR2 should be me first release

hecking incredible, dude.

Will this game feature a difficulty level because I think madness retaliation (the original game) is quite easy for me.

Difficulty setting is a feature I'll add at the end if I have time. I really want to do dynamic difficulty scaling similar to the Resident Evil games

@thinksomethings @revolverroach Obviously, i hope another old-timer like maxium ninja, xionic madness, madess deathwish,etc.. comeback from the ded

@revolverroach thanks for the mentions I hope this game is great. I would really like to try it when it's released.

Do you intend to make a port for mobile (if possible for both games, heheh)? I have the original Madness Retaliation on my phone and it's great to be able to play there, sadly it doesn't run 100% speed all the time since it's a flash game, and it's an older version of it (can't disable enemies spawn, as example).
